Not far from the plantation you can relax with stunning views of Lake Arenal at Hotel Joya Surena. Feel free to wander around the grounds and enjoy the variety of decorative and agricultural plants which include coffee, fruit, macadamia, bananas, plantain, sugar cane, and off course, bamboo. You can arrive in the morning to the hotel, visit the plantation in the afternoon, and either go to La Fortuna at night to see the volcano or admire its beauty from the Tabacon Hot springs. The next day, you have your choice of an early excursion to La fortuna waterfall (60 ft. high), white water rafting, or one of the above activities. After an active day, take a relaxing swim in the pool and dine in the open air restaurant.
