The northern and Guanacaste is known nationally as the most popular for rodeo. Almost every community in Costa Rica are good shows made for bullfights attract many visitors from around the country. In the north during the summer between the months of February and April the best parties take place in a roundabout. During the holiday season football games are carried out, riding, racing strips and dances every day.
Tourists who visit the country can enjoy cultural activities in many villages. Gradually, visitors will discover many rural areas of Costa Rica and all the good that they offer. The bullfight is very important for the Ticos, there are several wild herds that are a selection of their best bulls to take to the bullring, and this is a tradition that has been underway for several generations.
In all arenas of Costa Rica championships are organized or rodeo bull riding, the main event takes place during the popular festivals in the capital, San José. During these runs the "improvised bullfighters," as they call it, they get to the arena and try to be pursued by the bull and then try to avoid being hit.
To qualify for the attendees of the runs to the policy may not miss the festive maroon, sales of traditional roast and churros. Other amenities of Spanish Andalusian style bullfighting, by invited representatives for this task, but unlike Spain, the bull does not die in the square.
