A spectacular river with dramatic waterfalls is the backdrop for these platforms carefully built in the Canopy of the Rainforest. Traverse from tree to tree and platform to platform using pulleys on horizontal traverse cables, as they sail through the treetops of the tropical rainforest canopy, and over the trails far below. Expert guides assist you in this exciting journey through the different layers of the virgin rain forests and explain what's going on around you, from the time you leave the ground, until you rappel back down to the forest floor.

The main objective is to provide tourists a unique activity and ecological experience while, at the same time, helping to aid in the preservation of the world's endangered rain forests through direct financial support to conservation, education and reforestation efforts.

TTiti Canopy Tour has 16 platforms, 4 of which are build on the ground and 12 hang 90 feet in the air. Each hanging platform is secured to robust trees ranging from 100 to 200 years old.

Each platform is made with stainless steel cables and solid metal platform. The cables are ½ inch thick and tightly secured to trees. Each platform is designed to hold up to 2000 lbs or 10 people.

Titi Canopy Tours use only the best harnesses which can hold up to 3000 kilograms as well as the leach from which they hang from the rollers that slide through the cables.
