July 2010
Four of us decided to have a Costa Rican adventure. We rented a two bedroom condo at Manuel Antonio Estates. It was one of the best choices we could have made. we were right in the middle of Quepos and Manuel Antionio National Park. We had the best of both worlds. The staff was great to work with. We highly recco...mend the Rain Drop Spa which is right in the complex. The price for the condo was amazing and the amenities were great. We even had monkeys on the roof a few nights for some free entertainment! On our next trip to Costa Rica we will be staying back in Manuel Antonio Estates. It truely was the Pura Vida!

Our stay at Villa Quetzal in Manuel Antonio Estates was all positive. The 24 hour security guard helped us feel safe & relaxed in a foreign setting. Our accommodations were spacious & private. This setting offers the opportunity to be in the middle of nature, with wildlife all around & close to the beaches & wilderness of the national park AND the luxury of being a 5 minute walk to the center of a great little town, or a short drive or cab ride away from some upscale restaurants, hotels and other tourist attractions. The staff are always available & very helpful & eager to serve. We highly recommend "Richard's place" for individuals & families of all ages. We are an adult couple travelling with teenagers, and their grandmother & everyone had a great time!

We were greeted by monkeys the second we pulled up to check into the apartments. First thing we did was hop in the pool. It was perfect temp and had gorgeous views! The accommodations were pleasant, especially for the price! It was a short and beautiful drive to get to the town and National Park. I would refer anyone to stay here and I would again if I am fortunate to go back to such a wonderful part of the world.

This place is amazing: incredibly beautiful, great location, fabulous accomodations (both the condos and the house), with beautiful views, great pool, incredible location, excellent service and assistance, and reasonable prices. We loved it here it was better than we expected and we expected a lot. Tucked away up the side of a mountain with great forests all around, it was very secluded, but yet close to Manuel Antonio National Park ($5 taxi ride) and an easy walk into downtown Quepos. Loved it and want to go back.

The people at Manuel Antonio Estates were extremely friendly and helpful, even with booking tours and recommending things to do. Our apartments were extremely nice and very affordable, and the pool was great for the heat. We also saw plenty of wildlife around within the grounds.

March 2010
We stayed at Manuel Antonio Estates for four nights. It was beautiful, the grounds are incredibly well kept. We stayed in one of the apartments, it had AC and a kitchen. The pool lights did seem to go off pretty early, but we still swam. :) It was close to Quepos where we could walk to town and get some groceries or just browse around. It was just down the road from Manuel Antonio and the national park. It was the perfect location. At night we heard monkeys outside as soon as we turned the lights off, it was pretty cool. There were so many beautiful things to see! The apartment stayed nice and cool, and the kitchen had all the dishes we needed. I would love to stay here again.

We just recently stayed with Richard at the estates. we were recommended by the B&B we stayed at in La Garita.
The apartments were clean, only AC in one room but at night if the doors were open in both rooms it was fine. the bedrooms were a little "muff" but you get that sometimes. the pool was clean and actually you are right in the jungle so even poolside you get to see some wildlife. Its a perfect location to be between Quepos and Manual Antonio. a short walk to Quepos at night and a short drive to the National park. We booked a Canopy tour through the estates with AMy and TiTI canopy was fantastic. The tour guides were extremely helpful/funny and the 4 of us really enjoyed our time with them. well worth the money spent.
Richard was by far extremely helpful and didnt hesitate to help us with whatever we threw his way.

Thank you Amy and Richard

February 2010
We went to Manuel Antonio for a 2 day trip. I stumbled upon Manuel Antonio Estates and booked it for 2 nights. We stayed in the MOT MOT condo. It was very nice and had a private pool. It has 4 bedrooms and AC in 2 of them. It was set amongst the trees and we actually saw a bunch of monkeys climbing in the trees. It has a private pool that is not that big, but is nice and cool after sitting on the beach. It is a nice place to relax. There is only 1 TV in the house and no WIFI. So it is a little hard to stay connected, but if you are looking to get away as we were it was a nice place to stay. It was about a 5 minute drive to manuel antonio beach. Overall my wife and parents really liked it and would definitely stay there again.

February 2010
The staff members at Manuel Antonio Estates went out of their way to help us plan our vacation. We booked numerous tours and activities through their service and each one was exactly what we hoped it would be. Our trip could not have been as adventurous or educational without their scheduling expertice, which gave us the opportunity to enjoy both the natural and the cultural beauty of the Quepos area.

The hotel is in a perfect location if you want to enjoy visiting both Quepos and Manuel Antonio. It is walking distance of Quepos, great for an evening stroll into town for eating, drinking or gambling. The bus ride is to Manuel Antonio is just 8-10 min and is rather scenic. The location is very quiet and offers a nice view of the hills overlooking the pool. I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a very cozy and economical place to stay.

We've stayed 2 nights and enjoyed it very much. We felt like in our own home.
Early in the morning some monkeys just hoped around our kitchen window and the balcony. We had a big kitchen, fridge and 2 bedrooms. Clean and nice atmosphare.
Staff was friendly and helpfull. We had booked a Canopy Tour via the Hotel and pick-up worked perfect and we had a great Tour.
We would stay again.

This place is a hidden gem, better than we ever expected and we expected a lot. For the first night we had the "house", which was absolutely gorgeous, high on the hilltop, stunningly decorated, extremely elegant. The 2-bedroom condo that we had for the remaining three nights was also very beautiful, large and cozy, beautifully decorated, great balcony, surrounded by beautiful scenery, an amazing pool area, and very reasonably priced. We loved it here! We wished we were staying for more than 4 days. The monkeys that passed through every morning at 10:30 was an amazing sight. And the lizards everywhere were incredible.

The estate itself is incredibly beautiful; surrounded by forest and great beauty; you feel as if you are in another world, away from it all, quite secluded, but yet within easy walking distance of "downtown" Quepos and all the great restaurants. It is a very different place from the resorts of Quepos and Manuel Antonio.

Manuel Antonio National Park is a $5 taxi ride away and incredibly beautiful, with excellent hiking, wildlife and beaches. There is so much to do and see here, from wilderness adventure, wildlife viewing, to stunning beaches, great nightlife and wonderful restaurants. Additionally, a drive down to the beaches of Dominical (about 1 1/2 hrs) is well worth it.

Richard, the owner was wonderful, very good to us, extremely helpful and always available if needed. He is very knowledgeable of the area and things to do and see. He also has great connections for tours, trips, excursions, etc. It seems to be a well-run organization.

The only complaint I can make (and this was relatively minor, with not much that anybody could do about it) was that the large group of young girls (possibly from some Scandanavian country) who had most of the rest of the condos in the two buildings, were quite noisy - outside by the pool, on their balconies, talking on cell phones constantly, and with their laptops with their Skype setup, instead of inside in their rooms - making it very annoying at times.

We absolutely loved it here and at the Estate in particular. We are hoping to go back again some day.

"Manuel Antonio Estates has been our home-away-from-home for several years now... Service is always excellent, the staff always friendly, and 'los monos' have continued to paid us visits."

"I don't want to leave Quepos but alas, I must head back North... my time here was fabulous, 3 weeks of relaxing, eating, cocktails, local friends, adventure, and just plain dreaming. Oh yeah, monkies poolside-- unbelievable! I can't wait to come back... thank you Manuel Antonio Estates!"

December 2008
"Simply more than expected!... A great place to spend vacations... conveniently close to Quepos and the National Park, great trails... don't forget to take time to visit the observation tower-- it's awesome!"

"We completely enjoyed our stay here at Manuel Antonio Estates. It truly was the best part of our trip. It epitomizes relaxation and what a vacation should be. Definitely do not miss some 'me' time at the Raindrop Spa.... Our son loved going to the pool everyday and we all loved watching for the monkies every afternoon. We are going to miss Costa Rica and truly hope to return here some day!"

"I spent 4 short days in Manuel Antonio but I came home relaxed as if I had been away for weeks! Manuel Antonio Estates is beautiful with great amenities and excellent customer Service. We stayed at the Jacana Villa. We had two iguanas that hung out in the porch. They were beautiful to watch. I never did see the monkeys but we did hear them. I loved waking up early and sitting looking out at the breath-taking view through the wall to wall glass windows. I could hear innumerable birds and also the monkeys. I am a morning person so that was perfect for me.

The house was very well equipped with all I needed in the kitchen. My son loved the pool and the Jacuzzi. I recommend the Raindrop Spa. The massages, wrap and pedicure were excellent!

Wish I could have stayed longer. Now I want to buy a property at Manuel Estates!"

My stay here was great—four days just isn´t enough. Wish I could´ve stayed my full vacation in this awesome house! The stairs are killer but it´s worth the burn in this house! I´m actually finally getting to go horseback riding today because the sun finally overpowered all the rain. The beach was a little different than I expected but still very nice. Make sure to wear sunblock especially when there´s overcast skies because I burned like no other! The shopping of course was a blast—I got some good deals but it´s because I had a Tica with me...they like to overcharge Americans. Anyways, I hope whoever stays here next enjoys the house with the gorgeous view and beware of the monkeys!!! They kept mr up last night, darn monkeys. Well this was a nice experience for me, many great memories to take back to the States. I hope you´ll enjoy it too!
PS—If I had the money I´d buy this house in a hearbeat!

My stay here was absolutely wonderful. The view from here is really nice. Many unexpected things happened while we were here. Like two huge dogs following you home, monkeys coming into the house, birds living in the circular lamp outside, and many other things. When we went to the National Park we saw all kinds of wild animals and we had a blast tanning at the beach (that includes getting totally sunburned). My recommendations would be to check out the national park and beaches, look at the hotel ¨Los Sueños¨ in Jaco, close and lock the doors and windows (in case of monkeys), shop at the stores at the shores of the beaches, and eating icecream with crumbled oreo cookies on top. I hope you enjoy your time here—I sure did:

Okay, first of all there is no reason to worry about the monkeys attacking. They did get ahold of a bird, but they do their works privately. We did however adopt some wandering dogs by accident, because they kept showing up at our door. Clo Clo says, ¨Totally talk to the rastas at the beach. They are so laid back and cool. You can get dredlocks done by them too! Ask for Tony.¨ And be sure to sound Tico when trying to get into the National Park...you´ll definitely save a buck or two. Plus, to make your experience more adventuresome, take the bus down to the beach—it´s easy and way cheap.

We arrived on the 5th, and my friends and I have been traveling Costa Rica from San Jose, Montezuma, Jaco, and now Manuel Antonio. The stay here has been amazing! We´ve met great people and have had pretty unique experiences: canopy, snorkeling, boat rides, horseback riding, white water rafting. Every little town has been full of new experiences...we will leave with great memories!

Our last day here in Costa Rica; we went to the National Park. We were able to see some monkeys and other critters. We´re currently lounging, chatting about this lovely house. Wow...just found out it´s worth 1.25 million—pricy but lovely. We´re heading back down to San Jose and leaving to Las Vegas tomorrow...unfortunately teh rain today caused us to change our plans, we wanted to go to the beach but no luck, it´s been raining! Enjoy, and we shall be back!

Beautiful house, gorgous view, wonderful memories. Enjoy!!!

I´ve visited Costa Rica 11 times, this time with 5 friends from high school. Desiree totally stepped up when the trip could´ve gone south. Wow, what a meal! The house was amazing. I hope to bring my wife and kids here in the future.
